KIDS ALOUD 2025 –  “MUSICAL MAGIC”

Rehearsals are now well under way in local primary schools for the next Kids Aloud production, Musical Magic, which takes place at Harrogate’s Royal Hall on 1 March.

The show features some of the highlights of musical theatre over almost 150 years – from Gilbert and Sullivan to Queen with the young singers learning a wide variety of types and moods and styles of song, all linked by melody and story-telling. And as a result the audience is guaranteed an evening of both nostalgia and discovery.

Six local schools are taking part: Aspin Park Community Primary School, Dacre Braithwaite Church of England Primary School Pannal Primary School, Richard Taylor Church of England Primary School, Rossett Acre Primary School and St Robert’s Catholic Primary School. In all some 270 young singers are taking part. They will be led by conductor Helen Mills and accompanied by Ripon Cathedral Assistant Organist Alastair Stone. The show will be compered by Kids Aloud Artistic Director, Rotarian Guy Wilson

The experience of performing at the Royal Hall is something we want to be very special for all the performers. To make it really memorable for them we’d like to fill the auditorium to capacity, so please book up and join us for a great evening of music.

The concert starts at 6.30 pm on I March and tickets are available from:
