Put a several hundred kids from six local primary schools onto the stage of Harrogate’s magnificent Royal Hall, give them songs to sing from over a century of musicals and what do you have?

The latest production in a long line of Harrogate Brigates Rotary’s ‘Kids Aloud’ concerts. They raised the roof with music all the way from Gilbert and Sullivan to Queen via George Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and lots of others. Conductor Helen Mills, accompanist Alastair Stone and Narrator and Artistic Director Guy Wilson ensured it all went off smoothly and a lot of children had an experience they’ll never forget – the night they sang to a full house at the Royal Hall.
