We run regular Saturday morning pop-up charity cafés at St Peter’s Church and the Wesley Centre , both in Harrogate town centre.
Each cafe session usually raises around £500 for various charities. Recently we’ve supported ShelterBox, local Ukrainian refugees, End Polio and our own charity account for local good causes. The Ukraine day was notable in raising over £1,500.
Most of the food is home-made, including soup, cakes, scones and sandwiches with the usual range of tea, coffee and soft drinks. Any food left at the end is donated to the local homeless hostel.
Do come and visit us. And if you’d like to lend a hand just contact us and we’ll give you an especially warm welcome.
Our next pop up charity cafe is on Saturday 18 May 2024 at the Wesley Centre in Harrogate town centre. We’d love to see you.
